I was trying the installation of SIMP from RPMs into a RHEL7 (AWS) Instances.
During the process you can see the following message:

For me the process stalled and I was not sure if there was a missing step like:
Since you do see that step when you are configuring it for 8150. Later on I figured out that the line about "running puppet without tags" would be doing this.
Here is the output of the run that stalled for me:
It should be easy enough to add a line after Running puppet agent, with --tags pupmod,simp that indicates the port change for SIMP CE (PE doesn't change the port).
As for the install stalling, I've only seen that when either there's not enough RAM+SWAP (you need 3.5 GB minimum), or there's a problem with the FQDN.
